Wheelchair Dance is all about movement, freedom, and finding your own rhythm. It celebrates the way a wheelchair becomes part of the dance not something that limits movement, but something that creates it.
This artwork was inspired by a performance I went to see of my friend dancing with her dance partner. Watching them dance together really stayed with me and completely shifted the way I think about movement and dance in a wheelchair.
