My participation in the 2025 Incognito Art Show

My participation in the 2025 Incognito Art Show

This year was my second year participating in the Incognito Art Show, a truly unique and inspiring exhibition that brings together thousands of original artworks by emerging and established artists, all sold anonymously to support Studio A.

For this year’s show, I submitted two original drawings of budgies perched on golden branches. I'm so happy to announce that both pieces have sold! These budgie artworks were created as a tribute to my earlier piece, Golden Budgie.

The Incognito Art Show is particularly exciting because all the artworks are sold without artist names, so your connection to a piece is based purely on connecting with art you love. It's a beautiful concept and one that makes every sale feel extra meaningful. The fact that both of my original budgie drawings found homes before anyone knew they were mine means so much.

If you missed out on my Incognito originals, don’t worry, my Golden Budgie artwork is still available on my website as a signed and numbered limited edition print, with hand-embellished 24k gold leaf. It's a perfect gift for bird lovers, art collectors, or anyone looking to add a little joy and sparkle to their space.

I created these budgies using a technique called stippling, where the entire image is built up using thousands of tiny, hand-drawn dots. It’s a slow and meditative process that allows me to create rich textures and subtle shading without using lines or brushstrokes. This technique is perfect for capturing the soft feathers and expressive personalities of budgerigars.

Thank you for supporting my journey as an artist. Participating in the Incognito Art Show 2025 has been such a rewarding experience, and I can’t wait to create more bird-themed stippling art in the future.
